Today we had to visit Vega School of Brand Leadership to give a trend presentation.
After an amazing breakfast it was time to prepare for the presentation. On our way to the school we stopped at Sexy Food, a tiny restaurant that buys their veggies from Harvest of Hope and serves special healthy conserved food. The story behind this concept is that the owner’s wife, who is battling cancer, is trying to become more healthy through these special foods.
After our visit to Sexy Food we walked through the Bo-Kaap, an area known for is bright colored homes. When we arrived at Vega we met Thys who gave us a tour around the school which has a nice rooftop terrace. After the tour Thys teached us about South African segmentation that we could use for our concept. Kaylee and Scott from Brand union joined us for our trend presentation. We explained the different trends and discussed how they affect Africa, because the differences between Europe and Africa are huge. It was nice to see that our trends fitted Africa in different ways.
